Tridonic GmbH has now launched several new members of its 20 W HI PCI ballasts, namely: the PCI 20 MINI Q2x1 (installation and surface-mounted versions in slim design) and the PCI 20 PRO Cx21 and PCI 22 PRO Cx21 surface-mounted units.

With the PCI 20 MINI Q211 installation version Tridonic now supplies HID ECGs for slimline 20 W luminaires. The PCI 20 MINI Q221 surface-mounted units have been created for small recessed ceiling luminaires installed in very small ceiling openings. These slim double-ended units are perfect here. Tridonic has also added two new 20 W and 22 W solutions (incl. standard cable versions) to its standard PCI PRO C021 range. The highlights of these products are the cable clamps and terminal covers which can be fitted without the need for any tools at all.

Although more and more LED solutions are entering this lumen range, 20 W high-intensity discharge systems are still extremely attractive thanks to their tried and tested technology, excellent colour rendering and moderate energy consumption for the entire system.

The PCI MINI is a high-quality product from Tridonic, offering an outstanding lifespan of 50,000 hours at 50 °C. Its small dimensions will open up new applications for example in shop lighting. It will be available in addition to the PCI 20/22 PRO C011 installation units which have long ensured reliable operation of 20 W and 22 W lamps.
