Taipei, Taiwan (June 24, 2011)—AAEON, a leading embedded and industrial PC manufacturer, introduces the AQ7-LN, a Qseven CPU module with an onboard Intel® Atom™ N450 processor. Addressing market demands for a low power modular platform, the AQ7-LN delivers high speed serial interfaces in a cost efficient form factor.
Along with the Intel® Atom™ N450 processor, the AQ7-LN includes 1GB of DDR2 memory on the module with an option for up to 4GB of onboard SSD for the operating system or applications. This compact module features an 18-bit single channel LVDS interface for connecting popular LCD display panels. I/O demands are well met by the eight USB 2.0 ports, two SATA 3.0 GB/s ports, four PCI-Express [x1], as well as an LPC Bus interface for additional I/O on the carrier board.
“The AQ7-LN is a well-designed, low powered, highly integrated CPU module. The low power consumption is an advantage that allows the AQ7-LN to work longer in battery powered applications, while the onboard memory and SSD satisfy the demands of high vibration and harsh environment operation,” said Cindy Lu, Sr. Product Specialist of AAEON’s Embedded Computing Division.
The AQ7-LN may be small in size but it is packed with features. Its low power consumption makes it ideal for battery-operated applications up to a 12 Watt limitation. AAEON also provides carrier board design services and performs free schematic review and BIOS customization. |
